Giel is currently a PhD student doing research at the University of Tilburg at TICC. The topic of his research project is: Reliable Adaptive Agents in Complex Environments. His promotor is Prof. dr. Jaap van den Herik, his co-promotor is Prof. dr. Arnoud Arntz and his daily supervisor is Dr. Ir. Pieter Spronck.
